Carl Wallace, Sr., 72, of Blytheville passed away on April 5, 2024. He was born on December 7, 1951 to Charles Franklin and Golda Mae Wallace in Hayti, MO. Carl was a Navy veteran. On November 7, 2003 he married the love of his life, Jimmie June Leveritt. He retired from Noranda Aluminum.
Carl is survived by his wife, Jimmie June Wallace, of the home; his children: Carl Wallace, Jr., Amber Wallace (Michael), Greg Beale (Beverly), Angela King (Ray), Nathan Taylor (Tellisa), and Morgan McVay (David); three brothers: Charles Wallace, Jr., Jimmy Dale, and Ronnie Lee (Judy); one sister, Peggy Sue Tinnon; his nephew, Larry Wallace, and best friend, Byron Mann; his beloved dog, Sunshine; many grandchildren, a great-grandchild, nieces and nephews, and a host of other friends and family that will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Clyde Richard Wallace and William Edward Wallace; and one sister, Mary Ruth Wallace.
Carl cherished his family. He never met a stranger, he was full of life, and loved the Lord. He loved to hunt and fish. He was a collector of many things including, knives, antiques, Indian relics, movies, and old and unusual bottles. He was a wonderful cook and quite the comedian. He loved spending time with his family, his nephew, Larry Wallace, and his best friend, Byron Mann.
A Memorial service will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Heartland Pentecostal Church of God in Gosnell with Pastor Bobby McDaniel officiating. Condolences may be offered at carneyfuneralhome.com.
