Nancy Mae Stokes, 66, of Blytheville passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at NEA hospital in Jonesboro. She was born in Osceola AR to Henry H. and Anna King Lindsey on March 4, 1956. She graduated high school and attended two years of college. She was of the Christian faith.
Her hobbies included crocheting blankets, making quilts, collecting angels, and collecting salt and pepper shakers. She was a CNA for 40 years and really enjoyed her job.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry H. Lindsey; and one brother, William V. Lindsey.
She is survived by her children: Glenn and Mirian Howerton, of Springfield MO, Jonathan and Nicole Howerton, of Poplar Bluff MO, and Edward Howerton, of England AR;
Four grandchildren: Destiny Howerton, Raven Boatwright, Josie Boatwright, and Carlando Williams;
Two great-grandchildren: Liam Howerton and Emi Boatwright;
Her mother, Anna Lindsey, of Blytheville;
One brother, Dean Lindsey, of Blytheville;
One sister, Karen Stafford, of Athens AL;
And other family and friends that will miss her dearly.
