Barry James Bullough, 83, of Blytheville passed away at home with his loving family around him. He was born in Ogden UT on October 11, 1942, to his parents Maynard and Delpha Blanche Petersen Bullough. He entered the United States Air Force when he was 17 years of age. During his time in the Air Force, he earned awards for Marksmanship. He also trained in Air Police School and Sentry Dog School. He was stationed at Blytheville Air Force Base when he was honorably discharged. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW. Mr. Bullough worked for the city of Blytheville for over 30 years.
Mr. Bullough enjoyed reading, cracking jokes with the family, and going to the river to watch barges go by. He also enjoyed playing games on the internet, looking up places where he used to live, and any other things that interested him.
He is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Sally Sue Bullough, of the home;
His children: Bobby Dale Avery, of Lepanto, Chris and Elizabeth Avery, of Jonesboro, Patchelia and Bobby Pierce, of Luxora, Carl Wayne and Jessica Avery, of Blytheville, and Bradley and Cynthia Avery, of Blytheville; Nineteen grandchildren: Abby, Alex, Jordan, Brittiany, Bobbie Jo, Hunter, Kayla, Krista, Carles, Kelsea, Jalyssa, Wayne, Breanna, Justin, Heather, Tori, Briley, Alexis, and Jace; thirty-one great-grandchildren; his favorite niece, Kathy Jefferies; special family members: Cricket, Lucy, Baby, Bashful, and Misty; and many other family members and friends that will miss him dearly.
The family will honor him with a Celebration of Life service at a future date.
