Ben W Harpole, III

Ben W. Harpole III passed away in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, on June 13, 2022.  He was born in Trenton TN on April 5, 1940 to Virginia and Ben Harpole, Jr.  He was raised in Blytheville Arkansas, where he graduated from Blytheville High School.  Following graduation, Ben enrolled at University of Arkansas and subsequently the University of Arkansas Medical School.  He practiced over 20 years as a Doctor of Anesthesiology. 

Upon retirement, he spent many years managing his family’s farms in southeast Missouri.  Ben enjoyed ballroom dancing, traveling, reading, and hiking.

Ben leaves his sister, Ginger Harpole, of Tucson, Arizona. 

A graveside service was held at Oakland Cemetery in Trenton, Tennessee, on Tuesday, June 28.    Condolences may be offered at carneyfuneralhome.com.  Memorials may be sent to the First Christian Church in Blytheville, Arkansas.
