Betty Mae Corbett, 61, of Blytheville, passed away at home surrounded by family and friends. She was born on May 29, 1962, in the state of Washington to William and Edith (Gross) Jones.
Betty liked to dress up, especially if she was going out, she liked her outfit to match. She had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed music, lottery scratch-offs, and slot machines (she called them, “ding, dings”). She loved working in her flower garden, decorating her house and front yard, and garage sales.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Edith (Gross) Jones.
Betty is survived by her four children: Dwayne Lee Corbett and his wife Felicia, of Martinsville IN, Tabitha Mae Corbett, of Blytheville AR, Joseph Alan Corbett, of Martinsville IN, and Kellie Allison, of Hayesville, North Carolina; Nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; her longtime boyfriend, Jimmy Sikes, of Blytheville AR; and other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 1st, at Carney Funeral Home in Blytheville with Steve Pettway officiating. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. until service begins. Condolences may be offered at carneyfuneralhome.com.
