Bobbie Mae Griffen, 79, of Blytheville passed away at her home on Friday, December 6th. She was born in Mississippi to Adrian and Ada Davis on October 16, 1940. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was a homemaker all her life. Her family says she was a very good cook! She loved working in the yard with her vegetable garden and flower garden. She was a very strong-willed woman, very orderly. She loved her little dog, who she named “Phil” after a news anchor she saw on television.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Johnny Griffen.
She is survived by her sons: Johnny Griffen and Jimmy Griffen of Blytheville; one granddaughter, Jamie Leonard; two grandsons: Mason and Gannon; three brothers: Tommy Davis, Billy Davis, and Jerry Davis, all of Truman AR; and her friend and helper, Shelley Meadows, of Blytheville;
And other friends and family that will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 10th, 2:00 p.m. at Carney Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tommy Carney officiating. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Carney Cemetery.
