Bonnie Layne

Bonnie Layne, age 85, of Pine Bluff, a former longtime resident of Blytheville, died Friday, December 16, 2016.

Born July 31, 1931 at Blytheville, she was the daughter of the late Glen Alexander and Daisey Via Alexander, and of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Layne retired from the Arkansas Employment Security Division after over 20 years of service.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Orin Alexander.

Survivors include three daughters, Teresa LaFarlette Alford (Larry) of Little Rock, Phyllis LaFarlette Lohnes (Hatsie) of Pine Bluff, and Pam LaFarlette Walker (Mike) of Branson, MO; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 21, 2016, 1:00 p.m. at Carney Funeral Home in Blytheville, with a graveside service following in Memorial Park.

Arrangements in Pine Bluff were by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services. Arrangements in Blytheville by Carney Funeral Home.
