Brenda Lee Edlemon, 49, of Joiner passed away Sunday evening at St. Bernard's hospital in Jonesboro. She was born on October 27, 1966 to Arthur and Hattie Boothe. She lived her whole life in Mississippi County. She was of the Baptist faith.
Brenda liked going to flea markets, listening to music of all genres, camping with her family, and just being outside. She enjoyed her children and was a very lovable person.
Her husband said they met at church, dated for two years, and married one day after her high school graduation. They were married at Nodena Memorial Baptist Church in Wilson Arkansas. They were together every day for 32 years. He said, "We had a bond that nobody could understand. We were always there for each other no matter what."
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers: James Cobb and Robert Cobb.
She is survived by her husband, Danny Edlemon, of Joiner, AR;
One son, Tyler Edlemon, of Joiner, AR;
One daughter, Kim Edlemon, of Joiner, AR;
Two brothers: Buck Cobb, of Joiner AR and Dean Cobb of Tomball TX;
Two sisters: Linda Ellingwood of Joiner AR and Becky Cobb of the state of Tennessee;
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 28th, at Carney Funeral Home Chapel in Blytheville with Rev. Don VunCannon officiating. Visitation will be 10:00-12:00 until service begins. Burial will be in Tyronza cemetery.
