Brenda Denise Freeman

Brenda Denise Freeman, 54, of Gosnell, passed away Sunday at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. She was born in Rhode Island, NC to Harold Gene Riley and Elaine Louise O'Kelly Riley. She lived most of her life in North Carolina before moving to Memphis as an adult. She moved to Gosnell a few years ago to be near her children and grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith, but had been attending Heartland Pentecostal Church of Gosnell.

She was preceded in death by her parents and some brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughters: Brenda Earnest (Chris Ward) and Donna Earnest (Jody Galloway) all of Gosnell; her grandchildren: Joseph Carmichael, Juan Earnest, Carlos Mandujano, Casey Watson, Lisa Earnest, Kristy Galloway, and Jesse Galloway all of Gosnell. She is also survived by a sister, Jean Pierce (David) of Memphis TN; and two brothers: Jerry Gleason and Junior Gleason of Memphis TN.

She loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed music-especially Elvis and George Strait.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 2:00pm in Carney Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tommy J. Carney officiating. Visitation will be at 1:30pm until service begins.
