“Bubba” Leonard Cook, 47, of Blytheville went to be with our Lord, Thursday March 27, at Great River Medical Center. He was born April 29, 1966 in Blytheville.
He was a transmission mechanic. Bubba loved the outdoors, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He would do anything he could for you.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary “Sissie” Cook; his father, Leonard Coy Cook, Jr.; his brother, Phillip Parish; and his sister, Janie Schincke.
Survivors include his son Thaxton Cook; his daughter, Jessica Cook both of Russellville AL; one brother Roger Parish and his wife Patty of Dixon MO; four sister: Debbie Perkins and her husband Daniel of Cabot AR, Susie Minyard and her husband Charles of Blytheville, Kay Emerson of Blytheville, and Ann Bachuss of Russellville; 15 nieces and nephews, 16 great nieces and nephews, five great-great-nieces and nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Bubba also leaves behind a host of life time friends, and a very special life long friend “his honey” Michael Cole of Blytheville.
A private Memorial service will be held Sunday morning with family and friends.
