Charles (Chuck) Eugene Metz, 41, died Sunday at his home in Gosnell. He was born in Blytheville June 13, 1973 to Roy Metz and Judith Parnell. He was of the Baptist faith.
Chuck was a "jack of all trades". He could fix anything but his passion was working on radios. He was a self-employed CB Radio Technician.
He was known for his great sense of humor. Family said that he was Hilarious! He also enjoyed camping and grilling out, traveling, and bow hunting. He was very fond of his dogs, Rockee and Sophee, and his pet duck, Paco, who gave him an egg every day. His favorite pastime was spending time with his daughters. He was an ardent family man.
He is survived by his mother: Judith Butler of Harrisburg, Arkansas;
His wife: Leanna Burcham Metz of Gosnell;
two sons: Raymond Michael Metz of Panama City, FL, and Jacob Parnell;
one daughter: Ava Marie Metz of Gosnell, AR;
one step-daughter: Anna Lea Burcham of Muscle Shoals, AL;
one step-son: Roy P. Burcham;
one brother: Larry Ray Metz of Trumann, AR
and one very special friend, Cherokee, of St. Louis, Mo who was "like a brother".
Carney Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements which will be announced at a later date.
