Chris Hardy Obituary

Chris Alton Hardy, 51, of Blytheville, AR was born on February 18, 1964 and passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, TN. In his final days, he was surrounded by many family members and friends.

Chris is survived by his wife and soul-mate, Annette Hardy, of Blytheville, AR. Parents, Clorita and Bill Hardy, of Blytheville, AR. His son, Cole Hardy, of Blytheville, AR and daughter, Jordan Hardy of Jonesboro, AR. A step-son, Jacob along with his wife, Jessica Parish of Blytheville, AR, and step-daughter, Erica Parish of Columbus, MS. Also a sister, Paige Lim and husband Stanley Lim of Woodland, California.

Most recently Chris worked at Tenaris Hickman, but for 23 years he worked for his father, Bill Hardy at Hardy Sales and Services. He had worked in irrigation in Mississippi County for over 20 years. He worked with many great friends, Paul Roach, Matt Davis, and David Kincaid, just to name a few. Chris loved his family and would have given them anything in the world if he could. He loved his two children and they loved him. His favorite past- time was just relaxing and watching TV with his wife. Shooting guns and blowing up things with his friends was a great passion of his. Recently, he had even taken up building and flying remote control airplanes. He also loved playing airplane simulator games with his great-nephew, Lucas.

Chris was a wonderful, loving father, husband, son, and brother. He was a great friend to those who knew him well and would be there for them whenever he was needed.

God called him home, but he will live forever in the hearts of his family and friends until they meet again.
