Obituary
Chris Abner VanDyke, 63, of Cooter, MO, passed away at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock, AR., on Monday, July 10, 2023. He was born on January 24, 1960, in Steele, MO to RL and Fronia (Hatley)VanDyke, Jr.
Chris liked to wear camouflage clothing and gear, especially when he went fishing. He enjoyed collecting old antique things and helping others in need. He loved spending time with his children and taking them on adventures ( they called, “journeys”).
He was preceded in death by his son, Brandon Betts; his parents, RL and Fronia (Hatley) VanDyke, Jr.; his 5 brothers: Roger VanDyke, Jerry VanDyke, Terry VanDyke, Mark VanDyke, and Randy VanDyke; and one sister: Sherry Moore.
Chris is survived by his wife, Sabra VanDyke of Blytheville, AR; his two children: Kaleigh and Kassidy VanDyke, both of Blytheville, AR; his grandchildren: Kadynce and Khyler McKinney; one special cousin, Don VanDyke, and other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
