Cynthia Kay Hammock, 60, of Blytheville passed away peacefully at her home with her loving family surrounding her. She was born on August 1, 1965, to William Hammock and Shirley Lovelady in Osceola AR, and lived in Mississippi County her whole life.
Cynthia enjoyed watching TV, especially the Lifetime channel and General Hospital. She also loved her porcelain dolls. She enjoyed taking care of her family. Her family says she had the biggest heart and was known to be a “mother hen.”
She was preceded in death by her father, William Hammock; her grandmother, Mae Brown; and two brothers: Ricky Hammock and Jerry Lynn Hammock.
Cynthia is survived by her mother, Shirley Lovelady, of Blytheville AR : five sisters: Debbie McCone, Sandra West, Tammy Wrinkles, Melissa Hammock, and Bobbie Carter; two brothers: Scotty Hammock and William Binkley;
Two special nephews: Billy Kirkpatrick and Dustin McCone;
Three special nieces; Kimberly Bailey, Heather Dean, Jaclyn Lynn; and numerous other nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Dawn Romero.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in Carney Funeral Home Chapel. There will be no funeral service. Burial will be in Carney cemetery immediately following visitation. Condolences may be offered at carneyfuneralhome.com.
