Essie Mae Logan, 65, died on April 14th, 2013, in Orlando, Florida. She was a resident of Blytheville, Arkansas for over 46 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bishop Marshall Logan, Sr.
She is survived by her four children: Helen Smith of Orlando, Florida, Michelle (Patrick) Cohen of Marion, Arkansas, Leonard Logan of Blytheville, and Marshall Logan, Jr. of Clarksville, Tennessee.
She also leaves to mourn her seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She leaves five sisters: Ruth Redhead, Trudie Cook, Brenda Cummings, Yvonne Cummings, and Stephanie Robinson, all of Orlando, Florida;
Four brothers: Clarence (Polly) Cummings, Jeff Cummings, David Cummings, and Michael Francis, all of Orlando, Florida.
She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, and aunties to cherish her memory.
A service was held at Life Center in Orlando, Florida, on April 20th. A local funeral service will be held at Carney Funeral Home in Blytheville on Wednesday, April 24th at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Carney Cemetery.
