Mrs. Frances Gail Shannon, 79, of Blytheville, passed away on Friday, May 12th, at the Methodist Hospital in Memphis TN. She was born in Wilson AR on December 7, 1943, to Ernest “Bo” McCanless and Gladys (Cissell) McCanless. Gail lived in the Blytheville area all her life. She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family.
Mrs. Shannon enjoyed playing the Solitaire card game, crocheting blankets, and needlepoint. She also enjoyed working in her yard. It was important to her that her yard looked nice. She liked to cook, and her grandson said she made awesome chocolate gravy!
She loved her family. She loved spending time with her husband, William “Billy” Shannon, her kids, grandkids, and her dogs. When she wasn’t spending time with her family, Mrs. Shannon, baptized on May 26, 2012, dedicated her time to going to the Kingdom Hall and going out in service.
