Frances Norene Walker

Frances Norene Walker, 62, of Manila passed away at home on July 7, 2020.  She was born on March 18, 1958 in oil trough AR.

She enjoyed being a homemaker.  She loved to work outside in her vegetable garden and yard.  She liked to go shopping with her daughter, going on trips, and going to the lake doing outdoor things like boating and jet skiing. She really enjoyed building things. She and her husband built their house that they moved in to in 1994.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and her dachshund, Coco.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Walker; her parents; one brother, Elvin Lawton; and four sisters: Charlene Martin, Shirley Blocker, Theresa Laxton, and Odeline Hunt.

She is survived by her daughter, Stacey Walker, of Blytheville;

Two brothers: Dean Laxton, of Florida and Jerry and Gloria Laxton of Rose AR;

One sister, Pauline Bodifer, of Florida;

One niece, Terry Laxton, of Sulphur Rock;

A visitation will be held Tuesday July 14, 4:00-5:00 p.m. in Carney Funeral Home Chapel.

We will be honoring the Arkansas COVID regulations MASK REQUIRED.  Social distancing of six feet apart also required.
