Harvey Talley, 53, formerly of Blytheville, died in Milwaukee WI on Sunday, August 15, 2010. Mr. Talley was born in Blytheville on November 3, 1956 to Robert Lee Talley and Elvie Holloway Talley.
He accepted Christ into his life at an early age. He began his life's journey doing carpentry work and soon became a Master Brick Mason. His outstanding work is displayed throughout the United States. When it came to bricks there was never a job too big or too small for Harvey Talley.
Mr. Talley was no stranger to anyone he came in contact with. He was a mild, meek, and very humble man and was loved by everyone. He loved people, especially children. He was a comedianв?¦he loved to make people laugh. He loved to watch TV, especially a good ole western flick from back in the day. He was a great dancer and he even invented a few moves that family members often duplicate to this day. He devoted his time and effort to his work, family and helping others whenever and wherever help was needed.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves to cherish his memory: two sons, Harvey Talley, Jr. (Natonya), and Derrick McThee,; one daughter, Tarhonda Lock; one granddaughter, Amiracle Monique Harviera Talley; and a special person, the mother of his children, Barbara Aldridge, all of Milwaukee WI; three sisters, Della Mae Taylor, Joanna Fleming (Otis), and Barbara Walker (Curtis, SR); one brother, Archie Allen (Mozetta) all of Blytheville; nieces, Rosie Malone Jones, Mildred "Angel" Martin, Freddie Taylor, Fredia Peoples, Rachel Walker, Jill Fleming, Markeeta McRay, and Tiffany McRay; nephews, Dell Taylor and Curtis Walker, Jr.; and a host of great nieces, nephews and friends.
The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern, and kindness shown during this transition and bereavement time. May God continue to bless and keep you.
