Helen Joy Blackwell

Helen Joy Blackwell, 50. Of Gosnell, died Friday, June, 19, 2015 at the Great River Medical Center in Blytheville, AR. She was born June 10, 1965 to Charles and Grace Ellison in Gaffney, South Carolina.

Mrs. Blackwell was a homemaker who had many and various interests and hobbies. Among them were: working on the computer, listening to country music, walking on the sandy beach by the ocean, cats, cooking (she made great sweet tea), the state of Alabama where she lived for many years, fishing, and most of all her grandsons, Jordan and Jase Quearry. They were "Nana's" pride and joy.

She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Eddie Blackwell;

Two daughters: Brandy Quearry (and Justin), and Bailey Bowling;

One sister: Darlene Crowe;

One brother: Jack Ellison;

two grandsons: Jordan and Jase Quearry:

her mother: Grace Williams;
her best friend, Donna Gaines;

and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Wednesday at 10:00 AM in Carney Funeral Home Chapel with Brandy Quearry officiating. There will be no public visitation.
