James A Sellers Obituary

Mr. James A. (Jim) Sellers, 75, of Blytheville went to be with the Lord early Thursday morning at his home. He was born October 25, 1937 in Conway, Arkansas to Jesse Theodore Sellers and Addie Florence Dunn Sellers. He moved to Blytheville in 1965 and retired several years ago from NER Data products as plant manager.

He was a veteran in the United States Air Force and also served with the National Guard. He was of the Baptist faith.

Jim had many hobbies, including golf, Razorback football, deer hunting (when he was younger) and aviation. His boyhood desire was to be a pilot, but after bailing out of a plane and being injured, he was not able to fly anymore. However, he never lost his interest in airplanes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Arvil Sellers, and a sister, Audrey Thessinger.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years: Pat Cole Sellers;

two daughters: Jamie (and Bobby) Holley of Greenbrier, Arkansas and Cindy (and Joel) Peterson of Heber Springs, Arkansas;

one brother: Jesse (and Phyllis) Sellers of Conway, Arkansas,

one sister: Ethelene Stevenson of Greenbrier, Arkansas,

two granddaughters: Chelsea Holley of Conway, Arkansas and
Abbey Holley of Greenbrier, Arkansas.

Private services were held Friday at Carney funeral HomeChapel.
