Jason Richard Thomas

Mr. Jason Richard Thomas, 36 of Blytheville, passed away at his home, Monday, September 26, 2016. He was born in Blytheville, Arkansas May 20, 1980 to Brian Richard Thomas and Sandra Marie Hammock. He loved being a paramedic and working in the healthcare profession.

He was a member of the Well Springs Church, and was very respected by the elders and others. He was privileged to go to Africa last year on a mission trip.

He loved football and was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan. He liked all kinds of music and enjoyed going to concerts. He also liked to play golf, but the thing he loved most was spending time with his daughters. He truly loved his family and friends, who say " he was an all-around good guy."

Mr. Thomas is survived by his mother and step father: Sandra Hammock West (Danny) of Luxora, Arkansas;
his father: Brian Richard Thomas (Connie) of California;
three daughters: Madilyn, Hannah, and Rozlyn Thomas of Blytheville, Arkansas;
one sister: Jaclyn Lynn (Chris) of Knoxville, Tennessee;
one step son: Xavier Ward of Blytheville, Arkansas;
one step sister: Christy Cash (Gary) of Little Rock, Arkansas;
his grandmother: Shirley Lovelady of Blytheville, Arkansas;
his grandfather: Richard Thomas of Hesperia, California;
a special niece: Jalynn Hammock; and a special cousin, Cheryl Harrison;
his ex-wife and the mother of his children, Kathrine Thomas;
his girlfriend, Rebecca Stults;
and numerous cousins and other family members.

Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by one brother: Jimmy Hammock;
his Grandmother: Fleta Thomas; and his Grandfather: William Hammock.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Carney Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Smith officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday at 12:00 pm until time for service.

Burial will follow in Carney Cemetery.
