Mrs. Jean Mae Clodfelter, 70, of Gosnell passed away at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis TN on February 26, 2020. She was born on May 27, 1949 in Fond du lac WI to Earl and Hilda Dahlke.
Ms Clodfelter enjoyed gardening, crocheting, reading, baking, playing with the great-grandchildren, drinking coffee and talking with family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Waldenmar Clodfelter; her parents, Hilda Zuhlke and Earl Dahlke; one brother, Roger Dahlke; one sister, Grace Dahlke; two great-granddaughters: Hilda Emma and Angel Rose; and two great-grandsons: Michael and Decklon.
She is survived by two sons: Jimmy Dahlke of Blytheville and Carl Clodfelter of Gosnell;
one daughter, Harriet Clodfelter of Gosnell;
Eighter grandchildren: Tina Marie Dahlke, Dallas James Dahlke, James Howell, Jamie Carpenter (Nathan Trantham), Colleen Hernandez (Michael), Sherry Clodfelter (A.J.), April Clodfelter, and Alex Philbrook;
Five great-grandchildren that she referred to as her “Sunshines:” Kinsley, Vanessa, Noah, Remington, and Aaron;
One sister, Ruth Cherry (Clint) of Blytheville;
Her dogs and granddogs: Izzy, Molly, Cinnamon, and Precious;
And other friends and family that will miss her dearly.
The family would like to thank the Gosnell Police Dept, especially Adam Borden, Chris Lassley, Andrew Wyles, James Haynes and Chief Darrell Watkins for their help with Mrs. Clodfelter in her time of need.
The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to Carney Funeral Home to help with the cost of the services.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 6, 2020 in Carney Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be Thursday evening, 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Burial will be in Carney Cemetery.
