Jessie Mae Smith

Jessie Mae Smith, 73, passed away Saturday, May 14th, 2016. She was born July 12, 1942 in Blytheville, AR. She graduated from Harrison High School in 1962. She retired from Borg Warner Automotive in 2000 and became a devoted grandmother and great grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Larna Dell Smith; two sisters, Ruth L. Sims and Mattie Gibson; and a nephew John Sims.

She is survived by five children: Rena Piggee, John Robinson, Jacky Robinson (Karla), Greg Robinson (Angelia) all of Blytheville, AR; and Trina Robinson of Oklahoma City, OK;

five siblings: Anner Rogers, Lonnie Smith (Lee) of Blytheville, AR, Tommy Smith (Joann) of Dallas, TX, Christene Giles (Willie) of Oklahoma City, OK and John L. Smith (Ree) of Port Arthur, TX;

eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held at Carney Funeral Home, 1501 Byrum Rd in Blytheville on Friday evening from 6 until 8.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1;00 P.M. at Carney Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Odale Jones.

Interment will be in Carney Cemetery.
