Jimmy Eugene Lowe, 78, of Gosnell went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 5th, at St. Bernard’s Hospital in Jonesboro. He was born in Reedsburg Wisconsin to Elsworth Leroy Lowe and Evelyn Solchenberger Lowe on August 11, 1940. He was a high school graduate and completed two years of college.
He was a career serviceman having served 23 years in the United States Air Force. After retiring from the military Jimmy became a locksmith. He owned his own company called Lowe Lock and Key. Jim loved locksmithing. He also loved his church – Bethany Baptist in Gosnell, where he served as a Deacon…the longest serving Deacon. He was a Gideon, and a member of the American Legion and the VFW.
Jim enjoyed bowling, coin collecting, and serving as a Gideon. He liked to help people. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, but he loved his Lord most of all.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Mary Lange.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Durkee Lowe, of the home;
