Johnny Ray Griffen, 65, of Blytheville passed away on Monday October 21, 2024, at his home. He was born on February 13,1959, in Elkhart Indiana to Johnny Griffen and Bobbie Davis Griffen.  He was a 1977 graduate of Osceola High School and a member of New Liberty Baptist Church.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                
“John R”, as his friends and family lovingly called him, started working at Nibco after high school graduation and later worked in construction.  He  enjoyed fishing, cooking, and watching Minnesota Vikings football games.  
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents Johnny Griffen and Bobbie Davis Griffen.

 
He is survived by one daughter, Jamie and Phillip Leonard of Clarkston Washington; two grandchildren:  Mason Leonard and Gannon Leonard, of Clarkston, Washington; one brother, Jimmy Griffen, of Blytheville; one uncle, Tommy and Linda Davis, of Truman; and a host of family and friends who will miss him dearly.

   
Funeral services will be on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 11:00 AM in Carney Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Gonzales officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until services begin.  Condolences may be offered at carneyfuneralhome.com.
