Johnny Wells Griffen, 79, of Blytheville, passed away late Thursday night at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.
He was of the Baptist faith, a veteran of the US Army, and he retired as a Supervisor from Nibco.
Mr. Griffen enjoyed remote controlled airplanes, fishing, but his favorite sport was NASCAR racing.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Bobbie Davis Griffen; two sons, Johnny Ray Griffen and Jimmy Neal Griffen, both of Blytheville; one granddaughter, Jamie Leonard of Washington; one great-grandson, Mason Leonard of Washington.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Monday morning at Carney Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tommy J. Carney officiating. There will be no scheduled visitation. Burial will follow in Carney Cemetery.
