Kathey Anne Presley

Kathey Anne Presley, 66, passed away Monday morning at her home surrounded by her loved ones.  She was born in Blytheville on December 27, 1953 to Martin Edward Pankey, Sr. and Billie Ruth Austin Pankey.  She attended Blytheville High School for most of her high school years, but she graduated from Dell High School.

She was of Christian faith and loved the Lord.  She loved spending time with family, friends, and her sweet dog, Bella.  She was always doing things to try to put a smile on others faces.  Kathey had a contagious spirit about her and those who knew her loved her.  She never met a stranger and could talk your ear off for hours.  She loved spending hours watching old home movies, looking at pictures, listening to music, and just reminiscing about past events.  She was the most devoted and dedicated mom that anyone could ask for, and her daughter was the apple of her eye.  She will be greatly missed by many.  The family would like to say a Special thank you to the entire Arkansas/Elite Hospice staff for everything they have done, they have truly been our Angels on earth and we couldn’t have made it without them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin Pankey, Sr., and Billie Ruth Austin; and her sister, Patricia Lynn Beverly.

She is survived by her daughter, April and Shannon Poe, Steele MO;

One grandson, Chase Winston Clayton, Jonesboro AR;

Two step-granddaughters:  Shannon Marie Poe and Kelsey Larrow;

Longtime companion and caregiver, Brian Koehler;

One brother, Martin “Bud” Edward Pankey, Jr. and Bridget, Blytheville AR;

Three sisters:  Audrey Faye and Dexter “Sunny” Cross, of Tampa FL, Ginger Lorraine and Fred Wilson, Jackson MS, and Marta “Marty” Ruth Brewer, Manila AR;

One sister-in-law, Mary Ann Pankey, Luxora AR;

many nieces and nephews;

and friends and family that will miss her dearly.

Due to Covid mandate no more than 100 attendees in building at one time.  Masks are required.  Please honor social distancing.
