Kenneth Wesley Pay, 56, of Gosnell died Wednesday evening at the Great River Medical Center. He was a retired truck driver.
He was born October 10, 1954 to Dewey Walker, Sr. and Margie Walker. He was later adopted and raised by his stepfather David W. Pay.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Carol Scroggins of Gosnell.
He is survived by two sons: Kevin Wesley Pay of Blytheville and Justin Michael Pay (and Christina) of Blytheville;
five grandchildren: Courtney Pay, Taylor Pay, Jayden Dever, Jordyn Pay and Addyson Pay, all of Blytheville;
three brothers: Dewey Walker, Grover Pay, and David Lee Pay; one sister: Katy Walker, and one nephew, Dewey "Skip" Walker III.
Mr. Pay was a member of the First Methodist Church. He had a passionate heart, and enjoyed writing poems, and songs, especially in his early years. He loved camping, his mustang, and taking short trips.
Carney Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. There will be no formal service.
