Kevin Kyle Sayre

Sunday morning August 6, 2023, Kevin “Pops” Sayre passed away at the early age of 60 years old. Anyone who knew Pops knew that he loved to grill and have a “cold one”, admired American muscle cars, and enjoyed making people laugh. He occasionally loved to take a ride on a Harley Davidson, and more than anything, adored every moment he spent with his family. He was a hardworking, certified welder who was part owner of Grizzly’s Welding for 20 years, then later continued his career at Nuark Warehouse doing what he loved.

He was in Mansfield, Ohio, to his late father, Peter “Grizzly” Sayre, who was a traveling welder, which led him to meet the love of his life, Julie Ann, to begin their family and continue the welding tradition.

Kevin, known by Ed as “ Wild Hair”, is survived by his wife: Julie Ann Sayre, Sons: Justin Wade Sayre and Casey Kyle (Jasmine) Sayre, Grandchildren: Ariana Rose Sayre and Devin Kyle Sayre, Mother: Martha Sayre, Brothers; Dan (Vickie) Sayre and Pat Sayre, Sisters: Kathy (David)Thompson and Peggy Sayre, and so many more who knew and cared for him.

He was always the life of the party and would light up any room he stepped into with his spunky mug and fun-loving attitude. Loved by many and impacted more lives than he realized, he is a man that will truly be missed.
