Leonard Levon Richardson, 75, of Blytheville passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born on June 9, 1945 to Lee Ollie Richardson and Mary Idell Richardson in Blytheville AR. He was a longtime member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Mr. Richardson loved to BBQ, his daughter said he made the best ribs and pork butts! He enjoyed fishing and his vegetable garden. He loved being outside doing yardwork. He was very generous in helping others and was very private about it. He enjoyed helping build the new Bethany Baptist Church. He had his hobbies and interests, but he loved his family more than anything, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ollieda Richardson; a daughter, Melisa Richardson; his parents; his siblings: Ernest Richardson, Beulah Mercer, Wilma Dych, Conrad Richardson, Herbert Richardson, and Louise Chesser.
He is survived by his daughter, Shelley and Gaylon Boyd, of Poplar Bluff, MO;
Stepson, Dale and Christy Woody, of Manila AR;
Stepdaughter, Vicki Woody, of Heber Springs AR;
Brother, Phillip and Peggy Richardson, of Poplar Bluff AR;
Eight grandchildren;
Eight great-grandchildren;
and other family and friends that will miss him dearly.
