Leszek J Kulinski

Leslek Kulinski, 56, of Blytheville, AR died on Saturday, September 6. He was born in Malbork, Poland to Leokadia and Mieczyslaw on September 28, 1957.

Les grew up in the Gdansk area of Poland and started working in the coal mines as a young man. He was involved in the human rights and communist resistance movements in Poland. He played a part in Poland's freedom from communism.

In 1982, he married Maria Kasprowicz and had a daughter, M. Dominika Kulinski in 1984. In 1985, the family moved to Seguin, TX and Les worked at SMI Metals, a steel mill company. In 1993, he moved to Blytheville, AR to work for Nucor Yamato Steel. While in Blytheville, he enjoyed taking flight lessons and worked on mechanical projects.

In 2001, Les remarried and he and his wife, Malgorzata had a son, Robert Antoni Kulinski in 2003. He greatly enjoyed roughhousing and playing with his son.

He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his two children, Dominika and Robert, and his brother, Krzysiek.

Memorial services were held Thursday at Carney Funeral Home. with father Joseph Felix officiating.
