Lucas Dwayne Watkins

Lucas Dwayne Watkins, infant son of Jamie Simmons and Christopher Watkins, passed away shortly after birth on Wednesday morning at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

He is predeceased by maternal great-grandparents, James L. & Dora Barnes; and a paternal uncle, Darrell Watkins, II.

Lucas is survived by his parents; his brothers, Ryan Green and Reece Green, both of Blytheville; his paternal grandparents, Darrell Watkins and Trisha Watkins, of Blytheville; his maternal grandparents, Mark Simmons and Cindy Simmons, of Blytheville; his maternal uncle, Elliot (Jessica) Simmons of Jonesboro; his paternal aunts, Katelyn Watkins and Kelsen Watkins, both of Manila; great grandparents, Roy & Mary Alice Simmons and Bill & Barbara Ward, all of Blytheville; maternal great aunt, Sandra Barnes; and his maternal great-grandmother, Jeanette Watkins.

Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Friday at Carney Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Hyde and Rev. Danny Rigney officiating. Burial will be in Carney Cemetery.
