Margaret Ann Layne

Mrs. Margaret Ann Whitaker Layne ,54, of Dell, died Friday night at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis.

She was employed by the Gosnell Public Schools in food service, and she was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church.

She thoroughly enjoyed being with her grandchildren. She also loved to listen to her favorite singer, Alan Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Elvin Whitaker and Anna Louise Hollenbank, and four brothers.

She is survived by one son, Paul Robertson of Gosnell;

one daughter, Tracy Layne (Barry) of Gosnell;

three grandchildren: Jordan Ridley, Chloe Ridley,and Madison Layne all of Gosnell;

one brother, Archie Charles Whitaker of Walnut Ridge, Ar;

two sisters: Betty Whitaker of MaGee, MS, and Tammy Priddy of Dell, AR

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 8th at 2:00 pm at Carney Funeral Home Chapel in Blytheville. Rev. Mitchell King, Jr. will officiate.

Visitation will be Monday from 6 until 8 at Carney Funeral Home.
