Marsha Lynn Bernier

Marsha Lynn Bernier, 65, formerly of Nashville Tennessee, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Nashville TN on August 2, 1955 to Columbus Marvin McGaw and Francis Marie Peach McGaw.  She was a lifelong resident of Nashville and was a homemaker all her life. 

Mrs. Bernier enjoyed shopping and dressing up for church.  She was a good cook, but enjoyed her granddaughter sending her a pizza every week. She was known as the Gossip Queen…she loved to talk on the phone.  She was feisty and loud, full of life!

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters:  Vina Allen, Nancy Martin, and Mary Jones.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Joseph Bernier, of the home;

One daughter, Wendy and Glen Ray, of Blytheville AR;

One son, Roger Adams, of Nashville TN;

One brother, Roger McGaw, Tennessee;

One daughter-in-law, Tabitha Adams, of Nashville TN;

Ten grandchildren:  Brittney Chamness, Freddie Fells, Brent Baker, Brandon Adams, Jordan Fells, Blake Adams, Allie Fells, Kristin Jones, Emily Fells, and Jacob Adams;

12 great-granchildren;

Many nieces and nephews;

Ex-husband and special friend, Robert Earl Adams, of Blytheville;

And friends that will miss her dearly.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 18, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. in Carney Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert White officiating.  Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 p.m. until service begins.  Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.  

MASKS ARE REQUIRED.  SOCIAL DISTANCING REQUIRED.
