Mary Lou Jones, 83, of Blytheville passed away peacefully at Gosnell Healthcare on Thursday evening, September 21, 2023. She was born in Tomato Arkansas to Clyde and Emma (Slatin) Casey on May 8, 1940.
Mrs. Jones worked as a machine operator at Denver Shoe factory for years, and also Universal Shoe factory. She also owned three bars. Her family said she loved animals…all animals. She loved to cook and enjoyed having a clean house. She enjoyed watching CSI Miami, CSI New York, and all the others. She loved Elvis Presley, but more than anything or anyone she loved her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters: Linda Sutton and Mary Stone; four sons: Robert Coleman, Larry Sutton, John Sutton, and Michael Sutton.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Sutton, of Blytheville; Grandchildren: Johnathan (LeeAnn) Sutton, of Gosnell; Crystal Harper, of Blytheville; Reshell Sutton, of Blytheville; Barbara Simmons, of Osceola; Misty Sutton, of Blytheville; and Jamie Herren, of Blytheville; nineteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Judy (Ronald) Lamb, of Jonesboro; and one brother, Bethel Casey, of Finely TN.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 27th, at 3:00 p.m. in Carney Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be at 2:00 p.m. until service begins. Burial will be at Sandy Ridge in Burdette AR. Condolences may be offered at carneyfuneralhome.com.
