Patricia Lee Deason, 69, of Blytheville passed away on January 4, 2026 ,at NEA hospital in Jonesboro, AR. She was born on June 7,1956, to James Thomas and Madine Duncan Thomas in Mena, AR. Patricia had attended the Northside Church of Christ for a period of time. She was baptized in Bethany Baptist Church, and most recently has been associated with Latter Day Saints.
Patricia enjoyed vegetable gardening and cooking. She also loved spending time with family. She loved watching TV, including Matlock and Let’s Make A Deal, but her favorite shows were Highway to Heaven, Little House on the Prairie, and Walker Texas Ranger (she loved Chuck Norris).
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Madine Thomas; one son, Scott Deason; three brothers: James Thomas, Bruce Thomas, and Ricky Thomas; one sister, Lillie Thomas; and two granddaughters: Heather LeAnn Moore, and Payton “Peepop” Jeffries.
Patricia is survived by two sons: Jackie Deason, Jr., and Jason Deason; two daughters, Shannon Moore and Penny Crawsley;
Five grandchildren: Skyler Deason, Jonathan Deason, Ashley Deason, Hunter Moore, and Danny Moore; special friends: Wayne and Diane McClurg, Susan Myers, and childhood friends: Jimmie June Wallace, Barbara Miller, and Pauline King; and other family and friends that will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Carney Funeral Home Chapel, with Mr. Wayne McClurg officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until service begins. Burial will be in Carney Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at carneyfuneralhome.com.
