Mrs. Patricia A. Inman, 59, of Gosnell, passed away early Tuesday morning after a lengthy illness. She was born in Blytheville on September 26, 1955 to Julius Cash and Nora Lee Green Cash. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
Cooking was her passion and she was amazing at it. Mrs. Inman was a cook at Sharecropper Restaurant for many years and was known for her delicious pies. She had many other hobbies: she raised a vegetable garden every year when she was able, she loved the old TV shows (Andy Griffith, Gunsmoke, Mash) and she never missed General Hospital. She liked to watch Nascar racing on TV with her grandson, and a dream came true when she got to go to Indianapolis in 2004 to see the races. She loved a bargain, and really enjoyed going to yard sales. She was a simple woman with a heart of gold, who didn't mind letting you know what she thought about things.
As much as she loved cooking and her other hobbies, the number one focus in her life was her grandchildren. She absolutely adored them. One of her favorite things to do was take them to Walmart and buy them "stuff." Nanny was their perfect grandma.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Lee Inman of Gosnell;
two sons: Kevin Watson (and Tabitha) of Gosnell, and Jason Watson (and Nancy) of Blytheville;
four grandchildren: Kevin Watson and Amber Watson of Gosnell, and Jorden Watson and Paityn Watson of Blytheville;
three brothers: George Cash of Fort Smith, Charlie Cash of Paragould, and Ricky Cash of Gosnell;
two sisters: Betty Sims of Blytheville, and Bonnie Riggs of Florida,
and her beloved cocker spaniel, Shadow.
A memorial service will be held at Carney Funeral Home on Friday, February 6th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Gary Hyde officiating.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time.
