Ralph Percy Miller, 91, of Scott City, Missouri, joined Jesus in heaven on October 15, 2023. He was born to Leroy and Linda Miller in Randolph, Mississippi, on August 16, 1932.
In addition to his wife Shirley and his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers: Wayne, Raymond, and Billy; and one son, Ricky Lee Miller.
He is survived by his children: daughter and son-in-law Deborah and Ted Sadler; son and daughter-in-law Ralph and Lynn Miller; daughter and son-in-law Diana and Randy Armstrong; daughter and son-law-in Darlene and Roger Gipson; daughter-in-law Debbie Miller; and son and daughter-in-law Randy and Stephanie Miller. Ralph loved his 11 grandchildren: Kim and Mark Sadler, Michael, Chris, and Daniel Miller, Richard and Steven Armstrong, Katie Eagle, Heath Miller, Matthew and Samantha Miller, and their significant others. He was so proud of his 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Reba Biehslish and Doris Bayless.
Ralph was always a hard worker. From picking cotton where he met his future wife to his military service in the Air Force to tending a garden to working his various businesses over the years, he could always work circles around any 20-year-old. He was proud to tell of his military service but most importantly he found joy in being surrounded by his family. Ralph and Shirley lived their lives so that everyone around them knew they loved God, and now they are both reaping the rewards of their faith.
