Richard Lee Young

Mr. Richard Lee Young, 57, of Blytheville passed away on January 6, 2022 at St. Bernard’s hospital in Jonesboro.  He was born in West Helena Arkansas on March 5, 1964 to Willie Eagbert Young and Dimple Lea Benton Young.  He was a high school graduate and attended college.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Young loved riding his motorcycle.  He liked to just “free ride” going wherever the roads took him.  He also enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and wrestling.   His favorite football team was Alabama Crimson Tide, but he liked the San Francisco 49’ers too.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Johnny Ray Richard, Jr.; his parents, Willie and Dimple Young; and a sister, Pamela Gail Young.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Laura Williams Young, of the home;

Two daughters:  Christina Lynn Young, of Blytheville and Brittany (Jessie) Leveritt, of Burdette;

Three grandchildren:  Nathan Trey Leveritt, Brylee Sue Crocker, and Mason Gage Crocker;

Four brothers:  Ronnie Eugene Young, Willie Eagbert Young, Jr., Bobby Neal Young, and Frankie James Crowell;

One sister, Sheila Diane Bond;

And other friends and family that will miss him dearly.
