Robert William McCone, Jr.

Robert William McCone, Jr., 64, of Blytheville passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro.  He was born on April 22,1960, in Florida to Helen Buttrey and Robert William McCone, Sr.  He has been a resident of Blytheville since moving here in 1975.

He was a truck driver his whole life and that was something he really enjoyed.  He loved to watch football and loved all things Green Bay Packers.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Debbie McCone, of Blytheville; one son, Robert McCone, of Blytheville; one daughter, Kimberly Bailey, of Blytheville; six grandchildren:  Dustin McCone, Haley McCone, Lacie Aaron, Dillon Aaron, Bobby McCone, and Presley McCone; four great-granddaughters; three sisters; one brother; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and several friends.  He also leaves behind his best friend Nara Williams.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Lisa Webb.

Graveside services will be Monday, June 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in Carney Cemetery.    Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. in Carney Funeral Home Chapel.  Condolences may be offered at carneyfuneralhome.com.
