Obituary

Roberta Louise Snyder, 88, of Lake City, formerly of Blytheville, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023.  She was born on January 4, 1935, in Crawford NE to Harold and Mary Virginia Williamson.  She was of the Baptist faith.

Her hobbies included painting, crafts, crossword puzzles, planting a garden, and singing.  Her family says she was also a good cook.  She was a Registered Nurse, so nurturing came naturally to her.  She served as an RN at Chickasawba Hospital, Randall County AF Base, working with government migrant children, and the health department.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Cathy Snyder, of Jonesboro AR; her best friend, Sandra Harlan, of Sherwood AR; and a host of other friends and family that will miss her dearly.

A visitation at Carney Funeral Home will be on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at 11 am.  A graveside service will be held in Dogwood cemetery immediately following. Condolences may be offered at carneyfuneralhome.com.
