Ronnie Lynn Green, 51, of Blytheville died on Tuesday, March 18th, 2014. He was born on August 9, 1962 in Blytheville to his parents Hubert Columbus Green and Clarice Bell Kinchen Green. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
He was employed with Nibco of Blytheville for approximately 15 years. He enjoyed sports, including racing, baseball, and football, especially the Razorbacks and the 49er’s! He was a family man who loved his children and grandchildren. He had a great sense of humor and always referred to himself as “The Great One.” His family says “He was a good man. He was loved by everybody.”
He was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter, Kinlee McCain; four brothers, Arlie Green, Dennie Green, Tommy Green and Billy Thomas Green.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Atkinson, of Blytheville; one son, Joshua McCain, of San Antonio TX; three daughters, Shelby Woodson of Blytheville, Haley Green and Autumn Green, both of Gosnell; six grandchildren; five brothers, Elmer Green, Bobby Green, Leon Green, Roy Green, and Timmy Green, all of Blytheville; three sisters, Barbara Gray, of Branson MO, Wilma Byrd of Blytheville, and Tammy Quach of Gosnell; the mother of his children, Audrey Poston, of Gosnell; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by his mother’s dog, affectionately called his “brother”, Frosty Green.
Funeral Services will be Monday, March 24th, at 3:00 p.m. in Carney Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Pankey officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Burial will be in Carney Cemetery.
