Sara B "Patty" Sprague

Sara B. "Patty" Sprague, 73, of Russellville, Alabama, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014, at her residence.

Mrs. Sprague was a native of Arkansas but had lived in the Russellville area for the past 25 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Spring Valley.

Survivors include her husband, James E. Sprague; sister, Emma Nell Willingham, Chicago, Illinois; brother, Billy L. Bowers, Littleville; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents, Howard and Lonnie Bowers; brother, Thomas Bowers; sisters, Mary Ellen "Sissie" Cook, Grace Kikinder and Sue Hicks.

The family will receive friends at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, Alabama, on Monday, May 19, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

A visitation will also be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Carney Funeral Home in Blytheville, Arkansas. There will be a graveside service on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville, with burial to follow. Officiating will be Daniel Vandiver.
