Sedric D. Wesson was born August 21, 1934 to Hardy and Eunice Wesson in Fountain Hill, Arkansas. He died January 31, 2019 in New Braunfels, Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara White, and sons Jim (Susan) and David and four grandchildren, Taylor, Hannah, Abbie, and Bryce.
After graduating from East Texas Baptist University, he attended Southwestern Seminary at Fort Worth and pastored 49 years in Arkansas and Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Margaret Dubose, Francis Stanley, and Lavern Welch and brother Doyle Wesson.
Sedric loved his family and was very proud of his sons and grandchildren. He loved spending time with people and people loved to be around him. He made friends everywhere he went.
Sedric was a member of First Baptist Church in New Braunfels.
Funeral services will be at Eden Baptist Church, Hamburg, AR Monday, February 4 at 2:00pm with Dr. Tommy J. Carney officiating. Visitation starting at 1:00pm.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 8 at 10:30am at Zoeller’s Funeral Home in New Braunfels, Texas
