Shirley Downing Moore Masterson

Mrs. Shirley Moore Masterson, 73, went to be with the Lord early Friday morning, August 1, 2014 at Gosnell Therapy and Healthcare. She was born in Gosnell, AR on March 7, 1941 to Otis and Flossie Raspberry Downing.

She was a member of New Providence Baptist Church in Buckeye, AR, and a member of the Ark/Mo Traveler's Club. She loved playing Dirty Bingo with the Westminster gang, and she volunteered at the Village Café for several years. She was a valued employee of K Mart for over 15 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Flossie Downing; her husbands: Oscar Moore and Dink Masterson; brothers: Ben, William and Joe Downing; a sister: Donnie Coleman, and her beloved poodle Angel.

She is survived by her sons: Daniel (and Laurie) Moore of Blytheville and Randy Moore of Blytheville;
One daughter: Leigh Ann Hatley (and Greg) of Lubbock, TX;
two brothers: Kirk Downing (and Wanda) of Gosnell, and Adrian Downing of Texas;
three sisters: Marilyn (and Pete) Ricard of Blytheville; Madge Pruitt of Monette; and Pam Taylor (and Chris) of Texas.

Funeral services are set for Monday, August 4, 2014 at Carney Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time. Rev. Danny Smith will be officiating.

Pallbearers will be Grandsons: Randy Moore, Jr., Steven Moore, Jeremy Moore, Garrett Hatley, Tyler Hatley, and grandson-in-law Jeremy Harris.
