Terry Joe Hyde, 70, of Memphis TN went home to be with his Lord on Friday, July 31, 2022, at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, TN. He was born on April 11, 1952 to William Franklin and Pat Ann (Hay) Hyde. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and a 1970 graduate of Blytheville High School.
While in Blytheville he worked mostly in sales, being a realtor, and spending time working with his father in the family furniture business. After moving to Memphis, he sold cars and owned and operated an appliance store.
He enjoyed his concession stand which he operated at area events, spending time with old friends and making new ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany (and Tim) Knight, of Blytheville; his brother, Gary (and Leslie) Hyde, of Blytheville; three grandchildren: Macy Darby, of Manila, Cody Darby and Jake Darby, both of Blytheville; nephew and niece: Jason Hyde and Ashley (and Robert) Wallace, of Blytheville; great-nephews: Peyton Simmons, Coalter Simmons, Connor Hyde, Trey Simmons, Easton Davis, and A J Davis.
He leaves four life-long best friends: Richard Brewer, Bro. Mike Brewer, Neil Brewer, and Gary Pruett. Very good friends: Carolyn Denton, Phil Yarbrough, Brenda and John Dunn, Eddie Phelps, and Danny and Layna McCorkle. His church family and a host of other friends and relatives that will miss him dearly.
