Tiny Hargett Obituary

Tiny Joe "TJ" Hargett, 77, Steele MO, passed away Tuesday morning at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. He was born in Blytheville to his parents, James Polk Hargett and Mattie Gladys Ratliff Hargett on November 27, 1936. He was a truck driver for over 40 years.

His hobbies included fishing, watching TV, playing cards, puzzles, dominoes, and he loved spending time with his family. His grandson, Anthony, was his "little man."

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Tonya Sheer; his brothers: Jimmy Hargett, LB Hargett, and Ricky Hargett; and one sister, Billie Keene.

He is survived by his wife Pat Thomas Hargett;

his daughters: Shelby Hargett and Shalisa Hargett;

his step-son, Jason Harris;

and his step-daughter, Jamie Robertson;

his 11 grandchildren: Breanna Sheer, Alisa Hargett, Katelyn Sheer, Anthony Tudon, Natalie Harris, Kirsten Harris, Leonard Harris, Wesley Welch, Cheyenne Welch, Kiky Robertson, and Amaya Tudon;

His brother: James Hargett, of Blytheville;

His sisters: Sandy Chitmon, Barbara Calvert, Mary Carver, and Donna Rhodes;

And other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at Carney Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Welch officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 until service begins. Burial will be in Carney Cemetery.
