Mrs. Virginia Johnson, 78, of Gosnell, passed away Friday morning at NEA hospital in Jonesboro. She was born in Dyess, AR on May 18, 1938.
Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker, and her children say that she was a wonderful cook. She made delicious dishes for her family and friends. Her biggest joy in life was being around her children and grandchildren. She lived her life around them.
Her main hobby, other than her family, was playing bingo. It thrilled her to win a game and be rewarded with candy bars at the nursing home.
She is survived by her children: Mark Johnson, Doug Johnson (and Whitney), Tony Johnson, Denise Rainey (and Victor), Angelia Cooper (and Mike) and a step-son, Jack.
She was predeceased by a son, Terry, her husband and her parents.
