Zyndle "Zeke" L. Ward

Zyndle (Zeke) L Ward, 54, of Blytheville passed away on Thursday, March 9th, at home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born in Memphis TN on December 26, 1961 to James & Alice Ward.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His favorite music was bluegrass and he loved to pick the guitar. He loved to take his wife Dorothy on motorcycle rides. He also enjoyed gardening and taking care of his chickens.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Kathy Ward; three brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of the home; five daughters: Marie (Junior) Brownlee of Maulding MO, Amanda (Buddy) Ward, Sarah Ward, Lilly (Russell) Ashley of Lebanon TN, and Tina (Gary) Myers of Blytheville AR; one son, Jason (Jennifer) Green of Murfreesboro TN; 13 grandchildren, one brother, Ray Ward of Clarksville TN; two sisters: Mae Ward Shelton of Clarksville TN and LaDona Ward Barger of Stuttgart AR; three very special friends: Hank Parish, Matt Wilwerth, and Jim Bell; and his chickens.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 11th, at Carney Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Carney Cemetery.
